Communal Reconciliation: Corporate Responsibility and Opposition to Systemic Sin

Recent events have given rise to considerations of systemic sin and how the church should respond it. This article looks at passages in Hebrew Bible which demonstrate communal character atonement. God holds whole nation responsible despite righteous individuals, often for sins individuals. Paul develops this relation between individuals groups his ecclesiology. I argue from development that responsibility sins, individual or systemic, is placed on community. Thus, there a corporate reconciliation, demanding group agency rectifying like racism.
